Mission & Outreach

We believe all people are called to be missionaries right where they live. We should proclaim the Gospel, attend to people’s spiritual needs, and work to improve the human condition. These are our attempts to witness to our faith and make happen what God intends. We strive to achieve this through the following missions and outreach

Drive-Through
Community Dinners

Every 4th Thursday of the month beginning at 5:00 PM

Drive through the church parking lot to receive a free dinner while supplies last.

Donations are welcome and volunteers are appreciated!.

Soup Sales

During the colder months we offer a seasonal soup sale. Various homemade soups are offered for $10 per quart.

Coats for Kids

This is a partnership between Steffin Hill and Beaver County Head Start. New and Gently used kids coats are collected and shared with children and their siblings who are enrolled in Head Start, Beaver County. Collections happen mid October through Mid November with dates to be announced.

Giving Tree

Christmas time brings happiness and celebration to most, but for some, it can bring stress and worry. This annual project benefits children in the Blackhawk School District. The Church partners with Blackhawk Intermediate School beginning the day after Thanksgiving through mid-December.

Prayer on the Corner

During the summer months, church members are available outside our church several days a week to offer prayer and to meet and pray with the community.

We usually reserve one week in each month

during June, July, and August.

Community Support

Steffin Hill supports the following Mission and Outreach programs locally, nationally, and internationally through the generous support of our Congregation and special fund raising activities.

Women’s Center of Beaver County

Since 1976, victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence have found the help and hope they need at the Women’s Center of Beaver County. We are here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Call our HELPLINE at 724-775-0131

Tiger Pause Youth Ministry

Tiger Pause Youth Ministry is a Christ-centered organization that cultivates community by offering holistic programs to Beaver County’s young people and their families. We seek to equip and empower individuals within our disadvantaged neighborhoods, develop lasting relationships, and through dedication and collaboration create a community where youth and their families thrive. We preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and watch the Lord redeem lives, build leaders, and transform communities.

Pittsburgh Theological Seminary

We are a community of faith committed to the Spirit's work of formation for service to the church and the world.
